The Orphanage / Ebtedayee Madrasa
The independent Ebtedayee madrasa ( non profit organization ) and orphanage was the first initiative of DAAB Foundation under the financial support by the Late Abdul Awal Bhuiyan family. Presently there are more than 20 students in the madrasa. All these students are resident of the madrasa and attached with a foster family selected by the community. These students go for food drive during the major harvest season and students are also growing (backyard) there own vegetable in the madrasa land and harvest fish from the open water for their protein demand.

The orphanage is a unique initiative in the neighborhood. It is created/ planned to be self sustainable as well as independent for their daily need of vegetable and protein. Each individual students are attached with a foster family form the village.
